Tasting Notes
DEMUERTE ONE greets you with a deep cherry red color and a sweet aroma of ripe red fruits, layered with spicy undertones and delicate hints of toasted bread.
On the palate, it’s medium-bodied, with smooth tannins and a lively acidity that brings balance and elegance. Subtle earthy notes add character and complexity, making each sip a layered experience that unfolds slowly and confidently.
Grape Variety & Character
Made from 90% Monastrell – the signature grape of Yecla – and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, DEMUERTE ONE combines the rich depth of Mediterranean terroir with a touch of refinement and subtle caramel tones brought by the Cabernet.
The grapes come from 15+ year-old vines rooted in limestone-rich soils, where the extreme climate of Yecla adds intensity and structure to the final wine.
Winemaking Process
The grapes are hand-harvested with care to preserve their quality. After harvest, the wine undergoes a 21-day maceration in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 24 °C.
It is then aged for at least 6 months in French oak barrels from Allier, developing its toasty edges, smooth texture, and unique character. Every step is intentional – aimed at creating a wine that speaks clearly, yet with style.

This wine is a versatile companion to grilled meats, pasta, and roasted vegetables. Thanks to its balanced acidity and medium body, it pairs well even with more complex or spicy dishes.
