For this limited edition, we have selected a unique coffee from Papua New Guinea, named after the Lamari River that flows through the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea. Lamari boasts an SCA cup score of 84, featuring flavors of milk chocolate, mandarins, and black tea, accompanied by pronounced sweetness, a clean finish, and a light to medium body.

The coffee has lower acidity and full body, making it the perfect choice for espresso on winter days.
Origin of coffee
The Lamari blend is named after the Lamari River, which flows through the Eastern Highlands. It is selected by our quality control team at source from a wide selection of coffees that come from an extensive network of small growers in the Lamari River Valley. Our vertically integrated and year-round sourcing makes the Lamari blend affordable and sustainable.
Growing and Harvesting
The remarkable quality of this coffee is a direct result of many years of support and collaboration with smallholder producers to improve harvesting, de-stemming, grading, fermentation and drying practices.
Smallholders grow, process and dry their coffee before it is delivered as parchment coffee to a collection station at our partner mill. We select the highest quality batches, which are specially separated for us, then peeled, graded and prepared for export.
Exceptional coffee with an exceptional score
Cupping score is a scoring coffee quality rating used to assess the flavor characteristics of coffee. To be considered a cupping coffee, a coffee must achieve a cupping score of over 80 points.
In contrast, the commodity coffees you buy in supermarkets have scores below 80 points and are intended for mass production, where quality is not the main criterion. These coffees focus more on productivity and price.
Suitable preparation
Ideal for preparing espresso, where the full and balanced coffee flavour stands out, but also great for ffiltered coffee or French press. We recommend medium grind and fresh water for the best taste experience.
