Origin of coffee
The El Cerro coffee comes from Finca El Cerro, located in the Apaneca–Ilamatepec region of the Ahuachapán province in western El Salvador.
The farm is owned by Fernando “Leto” Escobar, who continues his family’s coffee-growing tradition as the fifth generation. The coffee is grown at an altitude of around 1,500 meters above sea level, under the shade of native trees that protect the soil and enhance the microclimate.
Growing and Harvesting
El Cerro coffee comes from the Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountain range in El Salvador, where the fifth generation of the Escobar family cultivates it at an altitude of 1,500 meters above sea level, under the shade of native trees.
Ripe Pacamara cherries are handpicked during the harvest season (December–February) and processed directly on the farm using the Honey method, which enhances their natural sweetness.
